Including its existing operations, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sateri.com\/sukanto-tanoto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sateri<\/a>\u2019s total investment in Jiangxi will surpass RMB 11 billion (USD 1.8 billion) when the expansion is fully implemented over four phases. Combined with its 200,000 annual metric tonnes VSF plant in Fujian, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sateri.com\/sukanto-tanoto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sateri <\/a>is poised to be the world\u2019s top VSF manufacturer. The agreement was signed between RGE President, Tey Wei Lin, and County Magistrate of Hukou Jiangxi, Li Xiao Ping. The signing ceremony was held in Singapore on 17 June 2015, and witnessed by Party Secretary of Jiangxi Province Qiang Wei, Party Secretary of Jiujiang City\u00a0Yin Mei Gen, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rgei.com\/about\/our-leadership\/sukanto-tanoto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RGE<\/a> Chairman <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sateri.com\/sukanto-tanoto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sukanto Tanoto<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sateri signs agreement to expand VSF operations in Jiangxi\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Ek8tA0n9X0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Tey Wei Lin, RGE President, said \u201cWe are excited about this latest development for Sateri. VSF, made from wood, is a natural and renewable raw material and a key ingredient to everyday items such as textiles and baby wipes. Sateri\u2019s VSF production facilities in Fujian and Jiangxi produces high fibre strength and non-woven fibre products for the high-end market, and it is one of the few such makers in China. At the China (Jiangxi)-Singapore Economic &amp; Trade Cooperation Conference held in Singapore on 18 June 2015, RGE Chairman <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sukantotanoto.net\/\">Sukanto Tanoto<\/a> was invited to speak about his experience investing in Jiangxi. He recounted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In 2002, then-provincial party secretary of Jiangxi Meng Jianzhu and governor Huang Zhiquan kindly invited me to establish operations in Jiujiang. This wasn\u2019t the only offer Sateri was given at that time. We were pursued by other cities including Suzhou along with a number of favourable policies and support. Nevertheless, we were very impressed by the warmth and sincerity of the Jiangxi provincial leadership.
