Integral to its success over the past four decades is its close partnership with the thousands of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inside-rge.com\/empowering-lives\/partnership-asian-agri-smallholders-agri-business-contributes-national-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">smallholder farmers<\/a>, who collectively manage another 60,000 hectares of oil palm plantations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a tangible demonstration of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rgei.com\/our-business\/asian-agri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asian Agri<\/a>\u2019s commitment to its smallholder partners, the company distributed IDR 2.62 billion to the six representatives of the Association of Village Unit Cooperatives (KUD) consisting of 29,000 farmers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/RGE_AA_Antoni_PremSharingDec16-25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6742\" src=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/RGE_AA_Antoni_PremSharingDec16-25-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Asian Agri Distributes IDR 2.6 Billion to 29,000 Smallholders at Premium Sharing Ceremony\" width=\"650\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All six KUD located in the province of Riau and Jambi have obtained certification in the field of sustainable palm oil (Sustainable Palm Oil Certification), with technical assistance from Asian Agri through its initiatives to share methods in sustainable agricultural practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Present at the ceremony on December 21, 2016 was Indonesia\u2019s Minister for Trade Enggartiasto Lukita and Director of Asian Agri Freddy Widjaja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/RGE_AA_Antoni_PremSharingDec16-36.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6744\" src=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/RGE_AA_Antoni_PremSharingDec16-36-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Asian Agri Distributes IDR 2.6 Billion to 29,000 Smallholders at Premium Sharing Ceremony\" width=\"650\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe European countries are very receptive to palm oil from plantations that meet the principles of sustainability,\u201d said Freddy Widjaja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis premium sharing from 2015 sales is really a tribute and appreciation to the smallholder growers who have implemented sustainable plantation practices.
