Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper Co., Ltd<\/a> was named by the Guangdong Paper Association <\/a>as one of \u201cGuangdong Province\u2019s Outstanding Paper-making Company in 2013-2014\u201d. The honour came after\u00a0stringent reviews by a panel of experts and the association.<\/p>\n

The event, which recognised\u00a0the achievements of\u00a0the paper-making companies in the Guangdong Province, was\u00a0organised by Guangdong Paper Association. The\u00a0Association aims to collate the wealth of experience gained by the paper-making companies, expand the brand influence of paper-making companies in Guangdong, and\u00a0promote the development of the paper industry in the province.<\/p>\n

In addition to Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper Co., Ltd, the other five companies awarded\u00a0\u201cGuangdong Province\u2019s Outstanding Paper-making Company in 2013-2014\u201d were\u00a0Dongguan Jiulong Paper Co., Ltd., Guangdong Tango Information Paper Co., Ltd., Vinda Paper (China) Co., Ltd., Guangdong Bosom Paper Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Guanhao Hi-tech Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n

In addition, nine companies were\u00a0awarded\u00a0\u201cGuangdong Province\u2019s Excellent Paper-making Company\u201d and three companies were awarded\u00a0\u201cOutstanding Achievements in Guangdong Province\u201d.<\/p>\n

Paper Industry in Guangdong Province<\/h2>\n

On the back of years of rapid development, China’s paper industry is now ranked among the world\u2019s top in terms of production and consumption volume.\u00a0Guangdong Province\u2019s paper industry\u2019s production and consumption volume rank among the top three in China.<\/p>\n

This industry is one of the nine pillars of the local economy,\u00a0which contributes to\u00a0the national economy and social development. It is an industry that pulls together the forestry, agriculture, chemicals, printing, packaging and machinery manufacturing industries, and plays an important role in the sustainable development of China\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n
