With the theme \u201c\u6811\u9020\u54c1\u8d28 \u643a\u624b\u5171\u8fdb\u00a0 &#8211; Sustainable Viscose Industry \u2013 from plantation to fashion brands\u201d, the seminar aimed to better integrate different players along the textile value chain and enable a deeper collaboration for the sustainable development of viscose in textile industry.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by over 100 participants from organisations such as the China Chemical Fiber Association, China Cotton Textile Association, National Textile Information Centre, China Yarn Network, Ruyi Group, Ricardo Rami Studio from Italy, as well as upstream manufacturers and downstream enterprises such as yarn spinners, fabric manufacturers and consumer brands including Zara, UNIQLO, and Tesco.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8191\" src=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/HL8A3830b-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Sateri Textile Day China\" width=\"650\" height=\"314\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the seminar, Zhu Beina, President of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, shared insights about China&#8217;s cotton textile industry. At present, the annual consumption of viscose fibre is 3.4 million tons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Against this backdrop, Wang Guogang, Chairman of China Yarn Network, expressed optimism that the advancement of production technology and increasing sustainability efforts from the viscose industry will generate opportunities for viscose fibre and increase its share in the total fibres market.<\/p>\n<p>Equipment manufacturers Murata and Saurer, together with their collaborative partners Suzhou Pure-Fibre Textile Technology Co. Ltd (\u82cf\u5dde\u666e\u8def\u901a\u7eba\u7ec7\u79d1\u6280\u6709\u9650\u516c\u53f8) and Sateri&#8217;s Linz (Nanjing) Viscose Yarn Co. Ltd, also presented the latest trends and breakthroughs in using viscose with the most advanced spinning technology to achieve the best possible yarn performance.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a lively discussion among panel members comprising representatives along the textile value chain, such as UNIQLO, Luolai Home Textiles, Fengqiang Textile, Tianhong Group, Xinhuayuan Group and Hengfeng Group, discussing developments and new directions of the textile industry.<\/p>\n<p>Italian fabric design agency Ricardo Rami Studio released their 2019 autumn and winter fabric collection for the first time at the seminar, manifested through the four themes of <em>Althleisure<\/em>, <em>Home<\/em>, <em>City<\/em> and <em>Vibe<\/em>, providing the seminar participants with an intuitive appreciation of these seasons\u2019 trends<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8189 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/HL8A4360b-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Sateri JiuJiang China Mill\" width=\"650\" height=\"434\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the second day, participants visited Sateri\u2019s Jiujiang mill to see the viscose manufacturing process first-hand, as well as Sateri\u2019s sustainable practices in action. For some of the participants, their first visit to the mill was an eye-opening one. One brand representative remarked, \u201cI was not aware that viscose is such a capital-intensive industry. I am impressed with the scale of Sateri\u2019s operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8188\" src=\"https:\/\/rgei-2.hellopomelo.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u8d5b\u5f97\u5229\u9ad8\u7ea7\u5546\u52a1\u526f\u603b\u88c1-\u6f58\u4f1f\u4e1a-Ben-Poon-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Sateri Ben Poon\" width=\"650\" height=\"569\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ben Poon, Senior Vice President of Sateri shared, \u201cThis is the first major seminar Sateri organised for our customers and all our value chain partners, and it has received high commendations from all participants.
